Section 11.32.080. Exemptions from labeling.

(a) A container of potatoes being sold or delivered on government contract or on contract to a restaurant or mess hall is exempt from labeling if the contract specifies that inspection is to be made by an authorized inspector before delivery. (b) Potatoes being transported from one grading or packing house to another, from the field to the grading or packing house, from one field to another field, or being offered for sale for livestock feed, are exempt from the requirements of 11 AAC 32.010 - 11 AAC 32.090. (c) A container filled by a consumer from a bulk bin requires no labeling. (d) Seed potatoes moved or transported between growers because of a preplant contract, and not offered for sale for general consumption, such as seed potatoes for commercial production, require no labeling.
