Section 11.84.600. Potassium leasing method.

	(a)  Potassium leases authorized under AS 38.05.157 for land which the director determines is known to contain valuable deposits of potassium compounds are issued competitively under 11 AAC 82.  
	(b)  Prospecting permits authorized under AS 38.05.157 for land not known to contain valuable deposits of potassium compounds are issued noncompetitively under 11 AAC 82.
