  • An appeal from a decision of the director regarding the designation of zoning districts and the conditions and uses in them, the issuance of variances, the permitting of conditional and nonconforming uses, or other matters covered by this chapter, if taken, may be made by an aggrieved person to a board of adjustment composed of the commissioners of natural resources, commerce, community, and economic development, and environmental conservation, or their designated representatives. The appeal must be in writing and filed with the director within 30 days after issuance of the decision appealed. The board of adjustment shall meet within 60 days after the receipt of appeal and shall render a decision by majority vote no later than 15 days following the hearing. The decision of the board of adjustment will be the final administrative decision.
