(a) The following uses are prohibited in open-to-entry districts: (1) any industrial use; (2) removal of rock, sand and gravel; (3) mobile home parks of more than two mobile homes; (4) multiple-family dwellings, except for duplexes. (b) Commercial activities may be authorized as a conditional use in accordance with sec. 100 of this chapter. (c) Incidental uses that are conducted from the home are permitted, including child care, home crafts, sale of home-produced items, and other similar home business activities that employ only persons living on the premises. (d) No further subdivision of lots is permitted without approval of the director, after compliance with sec. 110 of this chapter. (e) The open-to-entry district is intended for present or future rural residential purposes. It is designed to permit most types of residential development while at the same time retaining a low population density and maintaining a rural character.
