Section 12.21.210. Access flooring contractor.

(a) An access flooring contractor installs elevated floor panels used in computer facilities, including access flooring that contains air conditioning ducts, electrical conduit, communication conduit, or similar material. (b) An access flooring contractor may not install (1) subflooring; (2) flexible, sheet, or woven-back floor-covering material; (3) duct work, conduit, electrical lines, cable, or wiring, regardless of voltage carried, that is independent of the access flooring; or (4) construct or make alterations to an existing structure or the structure that houses the access flooring.
