Section 12.44.560. Applicability.

	(a)  The provisions of 12 AAC 44.500 - 12 AAC 44.550 are applicable only to a registered nurse whose authorization to perform acts of anesthesia service comes from the nurse's educational preparation, national certification and authorization to practice in compliance with regulations established by the board.  
	(b)  Nothing in 12 AAC 44.500 - 12 AAC 44.550 limits the usual and customary practice of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse in the State of Alaska.
