(a) A drug or device that has exceeded its expiration date shall be removed from stock and quarantined until properly disposed of in accordance with 12 AAC 52.560. (b) A pharmacist may not dispense a drug or device beyond the expiration date on the drug or device. (c) All drugs and devices on shelves or display for sale shall be protected against contamination, deterioration, and adulteration.
