(a) Services may not be stated or implied as being physical therapy unless performed by a licensed physical therapist or under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist. (b) A license or permit issued by the board, or a copy of the license or permit, must be posted in a conspicuous location in the licensee's place of business, for public inspection. Pending receipt of the current license certificate from the department, the licensee shall display the department's Internet website posing confirming licensure. (c) To maintain a high standard of integrity in the profession and to safeguard the health and welfare of the public, physical therapists shall adhere to the ethical standards set out in the Alaska Board of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Principles of Practice, dated March 2015. The Alaska Board of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Principles of Practice is adopted by reference. (d) To maintain a high standard of integrity in the profession and to safeguard the health and welfare of the public, physical therapy assistants shall adhere to the ethical standards set out in the Alaska Board of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Principles of Practice, dated March 2015. The Alaska Board of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Principles of Practice is adopted by reference. (e) A physical therapist may not supervise, in any combination, more than three aides, assistants, students, foreign-trained candidates, or permittees at the same time.
