(a) A raw score of at least 80 percent is required to pass the examination. (b) An applicant who fails to attain the required passing score must wait 10 days before submitting a scheduling request under 13 AAC 67.110. (c) Upon the applicant's written request, the department will, in its discretion, waive the 10-day waiting period required in (b) of this section for an applicant who (1) can demonstrate good cause for granting such a waiver; and (2) complies with all other applicable provisions of this chapter. (d) An applicant who has failed the examination three times shall pay a $10 reexamination fee for each subsequent examination. (e) An applicant who fails to pass the examination within one year of when the applicant first took the examination shall submit a new application before retaking the examination.
