The assets of the permanent fund may be invested in the following publicly traded equity securities: (1) preferred and common stock and other equity interests in entities organized in the United States and elsewhere, including ordinary shares, convertible debt securities, initial public offerings (IPO's), exchange traded funds (ETF's), American depository receipts (ADR's), American depository securities (ADS's), global depository securities (GDS's), and grantor trusts; (2) equity derivatives, including forwards, futures, options, swaps, collateralized securities, and structured notes.
