Mobile homes, modular housing units when mounted on running gear, and other oversize vehicular units not generally traveling on highways without special permit will be transported by the ferry system by prior arrangement on a space-available basis only. Strict adherence to the limitations of tides and specific terminals and/or vessels is required. A surcharge for transporting such vehicles is provided dependent on width and length.
