Section 17.70.420. Interport differential criteria.

The aggregate of the following cost criteria comprise the interport differential for a bid submitted by a shipyard facility: (1) fuel to transport the vessel from its designated base port to the shipyard facility and return; (2) maintenance costs incurred and consumables used, including lubricants and other engine and deck stores, while transporting the vessel from its designated base port to the shipyard facility and return; (3) crew wages (A) to prepare the vessel for entry to the shipyard facility; (B) to deliver the vessel from its designated base port to the shipyard facility and return; (C) for crew that must travel to or from the vessel while it is in the shipyard facility; and (D) upon completion of the work, to prepare the vessel for revenue status; (4) nonwage costs to transport crew to or from the vessel while it is in the shipyard facility; (5) crew per diem while the vessel is in the shipyard facility; (6) travel costs and per diem for non-crew staff and consultants to administer the contract; (7) other interport costs not described in (1) - (6) of this section that relate to the performance of the maintenance or repair work of a vessel at a shipyard facility.
