Section 18.53.190. Suspension and reestablishment of control period.

(a) Subject to (b) of this section, if a control area attains the NAAQS for carbon monoxide, and after consultation with and approval by the administrator, the commissioner will suspend the oxygenated gasoline control period under 18 AAC 53.010 in that control area. (b) If the requirements for oxygenated gasoline in a control area are suspended under (a) of this section, and the control area violated the NAAQS for carbon monoxide the department will reestablish the control period under 18 AAC 53.010.
