In addition to the requirements of 40 C.F.R. 141.75 (reporting and recordkeeping requirements), adopted by reference in 18 AAC 80.010(a), the owner or operator of a community water system, non-transient non-community water system, or transient non-community water system using a surface water source or a GWUDISW source shall comply with the following requirements: (1) reports submitted under 40 C.F.R. 141.75 are subject to the report certification requirements of 18 AAC 80.1900; (2) for a system that does not provide filtration treatment, and that uses (A) a surface water source, but for which the department or the EPA has determined in writing that filtration is required, the department may specify alternative reporting requirements until filtration is in place; (B) a GWUDISW source, the reporting requirements of 40 C.F.R. 141.75(a)(2) apply when disinfection is installed, but no later than six months after the department determines that the groundwater source is under the direct influence of surface water; (3) for a system that provides filtration treatment, each turbidity measurement report required by 40 C.F.R. 141.75(b)(1) must include the date, time, and value of each turbidity measurement.
