Section 2.07.091. Evaluation of convictions.

(a) The director shall review the applications of individuals convicted of crimes and may disqualify the applicant if the offense for which the applicant was convicted is incompatible with the position for which application was made. (b) In making the determination of whether an applicant is disqualified for a position, the director may consider (1) the nature and seriousness of the offense; (2) the position for which the applicant is applying and the requirements of that position; (3) the circumstances under which the offense occurred; (4) the amount of time that has passed since commission of the offense; (5) the age of the applicant at the time the offense was committed; (6) whether the offense was an isolated or repeated violation; and (7) any aggravating, mitigating, or other facts or circumstances that might have a bearing on the suitability of the applicant for employment in the position sought.
