Section 2.90.225. Removal of license restriction.

(a) A license restriction issued under this chapter may be removed from a license by the department if the department determines that the licensee meets the applicable qualifications allowing for the removal of a restriction. (b) If the department determines that an area of the state previously exempt from the road testing requirement under 2 AAC 90.220(b) or (c) is no longer exempt from road testing, the department will (1) notify the affected drivers of the requirement to submit to road testing; (2) allow the affected drivers 120 days from the date of notice to comply with the road testing requirement; and (3) cancel the driver's license of a driver failing to submit to road testing as required by the department until the driver successfully passes the road test.
