Section 2.90.240. Notification of conviction.

  • A person with a Class A/CDL, B/CDL, or C/CDL license who is convicted of violating, in any type of motor vehicle, a state or local law relating to motor vehicle traffic control, other than a parking violation, in a state or other jurisdiction outside this state, including Canada, shall notify the division and the person's employer of the conviction. The notification must  
    		(1) be made within 30 days after the date the person was convicted;  
    		(2) be provided to the person's employer and submitted to the division's Juneau office; and  
    		(3) contain the driver's full name, driver's license number, date of conviction, specific offense for which the person was convicted, any license action that resulted from the conviction, location of the offense, whether the offense occurred while in a commercial motor vehicle, and the driver's signature.
