Section 20.05.1935. Requirements for releasing confidential information on fishery landings.

  • 	(a)  A person who requests from the commission confidential information about the person's own fishery landings shall make the request on a form provided by the commission for this purpose. The commission will make the request form available at its office and on its web site.  
    	(b)  A person who requests that the commission release to another person confidential information about the requesting person's fishery landings shall make the request on a form provided by the commission for this purpose. The commission will make the request form available at its office and on its web site.  
    	(c)  The person requesting the release of information under (b) of this section shall indicate on the form the time period that the person authorizes the commission to release the information that is not less than 30 days and not more than 365 days from the date that the person requesting release of the information signs the form.  
    	(d)  The person requesting release of the information shall complete the form described in (a) or (b) of this section in its entirety. When submitting the form in person, the person shall produce government-issued photo identification for inspection by commission employees. If the form is being submitted by mail, the person shall first have the form notarized. If the form is being sent by electronic imaging, the person shall first have the form notarized, and after transmission, shall mail the original form to the commission. The commission will not release information under this section until it possesses the original, completed request form.
