For drilling and completion operations for which the provisions of 20 AAC 25.033, 20 AAC 25.035, or 20 AAC 25.036 would not be practical or appropriate, the commission will approve alternate well control procedures and equipment if the procedures and equipment are adequate to maintain well control.
