(a) The council will award a limited number of individual fellowship grants. A grant recipient is not required to provide a match. (b) The recipient of a grant must (1) expend grant money only on activities related directly to the purposes set out in 20 AAC 30.240; (2) maintain, throughout the grant award year, residency in the state in compliance with the requirements of AS 01.10.055; (3) maintain complete financial records reflecting the expenditure of all grant money within the award period; and (4) submit a completed fellowship report. (c) The council will not award an individual fellowship grant if a grant application (1) proposes a collaborative project; or (2) is submitted by an individual who will be a student during the period of the grant.
