Section 20.30.455. Limitations.

  • 	(a)  During a fiscal year, an organization, school, college, university, or government agency  
    		(1) may, subject to the availability of money that has been appropriated to the council and allocated for workshop program grants, apply for and receive workshop program grants for no more than two workshops; and  
    		(2) that receives from the council at least $5,000 in other grant categories may not apply for more than one workshop grant during the same fiscal year.  
    	(b)  The grantee of a workshop program grant  
    		(1) shall  
    			(A) publicize the workshop;  
    			(B) repealed 7/1/2011;  
    			(C) in addition to providing the match required by 20 AAC 30.445, provide  
    				(i) workshop facilities;  
    				(ii) equipment and supplies for the workshop; and  
    				(iii) accommodations and meals for the workshop instructor; and  
    			(D) within 60 days of the completion of the workshop, complete and provide to the council a final report; and  
    		(2) may not use any portion of the workshop grant to pay for additional service by the workshop instructor, such as a reading or performance.

AS 44.27.052 Editor's note: Effective 7/1/2011, Register 198, the Alaska State Council on the Arts readopted 20 AAC 30.455 to affirm the validity of that section after statutory amendments made in ch. 30, SLA 2010. The council also amended 20 AAC 30.455(a)(2), (b)(1)(A), and (b)(1)(D), and repealed (b)(1)(B). Chapter 30, SLA 2010 made explicit the council's authority to adopt regulations consistent with AS 44.27.052(a)(6).
