Section 20.30.729. Loans of artwork.

  • 	(a)  A representative of a state office or of a congressional office may select not more than the number of pieces recommended by the council of artwork from the art bank for use or display.  
    	(b)  The loan is subject to the following:  
    		(1) by signing the art bank loan agreement, the borrower agrees to the terms and conditions of the loan of the work of art;  
    		(2) the loan is for a period of two years; at the end of the two-year period, the borrower  
    			(A) shall return the artwork to the art bank; or  
    			(B) may retain the right to use or display the artwork for a second consecutive loan period upon approval of the bank manager.
