Section 20.30.890. Advisory panels.

  • 	(a)  The council will, in its discretion, establish advisory panels. An advisory panel of the council is composed of persons recommended by the public, council staff, or a constituent organization of the council.  
    	(b)  As directed by the council, an advisory panel established under (a) of this section may  
    		(1) evaluate and recommend action on a grant application;  
    		(2) perform a program evaluation of an arts organization; or  
    		(3) advise on the administration of a council program.  
    	(c)  The council will, in its discretion, accept, modify and accept, or reject in whole or part, the recommendation made by an advisory panel.

Chapter 30, SLA 2010 made explicit the council's authority to adopt regulations consistent with AS 44.27.052(a)(6).
