In this chapter, unless the context requires otherwise, (1) "authorized installer" means a person authorized by the manufacturer of a device to be properly trained in the installation, calibration, maintenance, and removal of the device; (2) "commissioner" means the commissioner of the department; (3) "department" means the Department of Corrections; (4) "device" means breath alcohol ignition interlock device.
