Section 22.20.140. Notification of scheduled hearing dates.

(a) The board will establish parole hearing dates and will notify the correctional facilities of the scheduled hearing dates 60 days before the hearings. (b) Notification of the schedule will be made available to prisoners applying for parole under 22 AAC 20.150. This will serve as notification that the board will be considering the prisoner's application. (c) The department shall provide the board with a list of all prisoners who are scheduled to have their cases considered by the board. This list must be provided to the board at least four weeks before the week of scheduled board hearings. Upon request, the department shall provide the board with a list of all prisoners who are eligible for discretionary parole but have waived their right to apply. (d) The board will, in its discretion, change any of the hearing dates established under (a) of this section, and the board will notify the affected correctional facility of a change. The department shall notify parole applicants of the new scheduled dates.
