(a) The victims' advocate will undertake to conduct continuing professional training for criminal justice agencies throughout the state regarding the rights of crime victims under the constitution and laws of the state and the provisions of AS 24.65. (b) A justice agency or person shall cooperate and assist the victims' advocate in order to ensure that justice agency personnel receive ongoing training regarding the rights of crime victims under the constitution and laws of the state and the provisions of AS 24.65. (c) The victims' advocate and the victim's advocate's staff shall receive annual continuing professional training regarding the rights of crime victims, including the rights of crime victims under the constitution and laws of the state and the provisions of AS 24.65.
