(a) To be eligible for a grant, a proposed project must fall within one of the following categories: (1) support for coho or chinook salmon hatchery operations at existing facilities within the districts established under 5 AAC 33.200(a) - (h); (2) the development or addition of remote release sites of hatchery fish in waters inside the winter boundary line established under 5 AAC 29.020(b). (b) An eligible entity may apply for a minimum of $15,000 in grant money. (c) An eligible entity may apply for a maximum of $200,000 in grant money. (d) The total amount of money allocated for projects in the category set out in (a)(1) of this section is $200,000. (e) The total amount of money allocated for projects in the category set out in (a)(2) of this section is $300,000.
