If voters of the dissolved municipality approve the plan for disposition of assets in an election administered by the director of elections under AS 29.06.510, that approval by the voters will satisfy the requirement under AS 44.33.755(a)(2) for approval by an appropriate village entity.

Editor's note: As of Register 218 (July 2016), the regulations attorney made a technical correction under AS 44.62.125(b)(6), to the authority citation that follows 3 AAC 194.020, so that "AS 44.47.150" now reads "AS 44.33.755." Sections 63 and 84, ch. 58, SLA 1999, repealed former AS 44.47.150 and enacted AS 44.33.755, identical to former AS 44.47.150 except for two technical corrections. Chapter 58, SLA 1999 merged most functions of the former Department of Community and Regional Affairs into what is, as of July 2016, the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development.
