(a) When filing an application for a new marijuana establishment license or transfer of a license, the applicant, including each individual listed in 3 AAC 306.020(b)(2), must submit the person's fingerprints and the fees required by the Department of Public Safety under AS 12.62.160 for criminal justice information. (b) The director shall submit the fingerprints to the Department of Public Safety to obtain a report of criminal justice information under AS 12.62. The board will use the information obtained under this section to determine if an applicant is qualified for a marijuana establishment license. (c) In this section, "criminal justice information" has the meaning given in AS 12.62.900.
