Section 4.33.505. Public school growth and proficiency index.

The department will calculate each year the public school growth and proficiency index score for all students, schools, and districts in the state, and for the state as a whole. The index score will be based on both student growth and student proficiency on the state standards-based test selected under 4 AAC 06.737. The index score will be used to study classrooms, schools, districts, and the state.
