(a) Salmon, trout and char may only be taken under the authority of a subsistence fishing permit. (b) Not more than 250 salmon may be taken for subsistence purposes unless otherwise specified on the subsistence fishing permit. (c) A subsistence fishermen shall keep a record of the number of subsistence fish taken by that subsistence fisherman each year. The number of subsistence fish taken shall be recorded on the reverse side of the permit. The record must be completed immediately upon landing subsistence-caught fish, and must be returned to the local representative of the department by December 31 of the year the permit was issued.
