(a) Fish may be taken by gear listed in 5 AAC 01.010(a), unless restricted in this section or under the terms of a subsistence fishing permit. (b) Halibut may be taken only by a single hand-held line with not more than two hooks attached to it. (c) In the Situk River, a subsistence salmon fishing permit holder shall attend the permit holder's gillnet at all times when it is being used to take salmon. (d) A gillnet or seine used for subsistence fishing may not block more than two-thirds the width of a stream and any channel or side channel of a stream.
