(a) Salmon streams flowing across or adjacent to the road systems of Petersburg, Wrangell, and Sitka support only limited runs of salmon. Harvestable numbers of salmon in excess of the spawning escapement needs for those streams are normally of such a small magnitude that these numbers alone are not sufficient to support the consumptive demands of those communities. Therefore, permits allowing the use of nets shall not be issued for the streams along the road systems of those communities. (b) Repealed 4/14/82.
