Section 5.05.335. Minimum distance between units of gear.

(a) In District 1, no person may set or operate any part of a set gillnet within 300 feet of any part of another set gillnet. (b) In District 2, no person may set or operate any part of a set gillnet within 200 feet of any part of another set gillnet. (c) In Districts 4, 5, and 6, a person may not set or operate commercial fishing gear within 200 feet of other commercial, personal use, or subsistence fishing gear, except as follows: (1) in District 4 from Old Paradise Village upstream to a point four miles upstream from Anvik there is no minimum distance requirement between fish wheels; (2) at the site approximately one mile upstream from Ruby on the south bank of the Yukon River between ADF&G regulatory markers containing the area known locally as the "Slide," there is no minimum distance requirement between subsistence gear and commercial gear.
