The operator of a salmon-processing operation, and a company employing aircraft used for transporting salmon or salmon products, in District 6, must obtain a permit from the department before starting operations. The permit must contain the following: (1) procedures and requirements for the reporting of location and date of processing operations to the department; (2) the identity and description of each aircraft and vessel employed in the transporting of salmon or salmon products; (3) permission for local representatives of the department to inspect, at any time, aircraft and vessels used for transporting salmon; storage areas; freezers; processing areas; processing records; and processed and unprocessed salmon; and (4) other information required by the department for the conservation and management of the salmon resources or for enforcement of fishing laws.
