The following are the sport fishing sections of the Kenai River Drainage Area: (1) Lower Section: waters upstream from a line at the mouth of the Kenai River from the green light tower on the north shore to an ADF&G regulatory marker on the south shore to Skilak Lake, including Skilak Lake, but not including the waters of Skilak Lake within a one-half mile radius of the Kenai River inlet; (2) Middle Section: waters of Skilak Lake within a one-half mile radius of the Kenai River inlet, upstream to the Sterling Highway Bridge at the outlet of Kenai Lake; (3) Upper Section: waters upstream of the Sterling Highway Bridge at the outlet of Kenai Lake, including Kenai Lake, and all stream and lakes that flow into Kenai Lake.
