Section 5.93.205. General conditions and requirements of an educational fishery program permit.

(a) An educational fishery permit may be used for a period not to exceed one year from the date of issue. An educational fishery permit may be renewed annually for a period of up to one year if the permittee submits a request for renewal in accordance with 5 AAC 93.210(d). (b) A permittee shall keep a copy of the permit, including amendments, at the site where activities authorized by the permit are taking place and shall show the permit to a representative of the department upon request. (c) Fishery resources harvested under an educational fishery permit may be consumed by humans or discarded if unfit for human consumption. The fishery resource may not be consumed by animals, bartered, sold, or exchanged for anything of value. (d) Other regulations in 5 AAC regarding fisheries activities do not apply to activities allowed under an educational fishery permit issued under 5 AAC 93.200 - 5 AAC 93.235.
