Beginning at the intersection of the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary and Weyahok River; then northeasterly along the thread of Weyahok River to its intersection with Alatna River; then southeasterly along the thread of Alatna River to its intersection with Malamute Fork Alatna River; then easterly along the thread of Malamute Fork Alatna River to its intersection with Bedrock Creek; then easterly along the thread of Bedrock Creek to a non-visible point; then southeasterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the headwaters of East Fork Sozhekla Creek; then southerly along the thread of East Fork Sozhekla Creek to its intersection with Henshaw Creek; then southerly along the thread of Henshaw Creek to its intersection a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the southern shore of the Koyukuk River; then southeasterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to western shore of Mingkoket Lake; then southerly along the western shoreline of Mingkoket Lake and continuing southwesterly along a non-visible point-to-point line extending to the intersection of a Winter Trail and Kanuti Chalatna Creek; then northwesterly along the thread of Kanuti Chalatna Creek to its intersection with the Kanuti River; then northwesterly along the thread of the Kanuti River to its intersection with the Tanana Allakaket Winter Trail; then southwesterly along the centerline of the Tanana Allakaket Winter Trail to its intersection with the Mentanontli River; then northerly along the thread of the Mantanontli River to its intersection with Notoniono Creek; then southwesterly along the thread of Notoniono Creek to its intersection with Foot Trail; then southwesterly along the centerline of Foot Trail to its intersection with Indian River; then southwesterly along the thread of Indian River to its intersection with Matthews Slough; then northwesterly along the thread of Matthews Slough to its intersection with the southern bank of Koyukuk River; then northwesterly along the southern bank of Koyukuk River to its intersection with Dakli River; then northerly along the thread of Dakli River to its intersection with Billy Hawk Creek; then northerly along the thread of Billy Hawk Creek to its intersection with the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary; then northeasterly along the Northwest Arctic Borough boundary to the point of beginning, excluding all that area with the City of Hughes.
