Section 7.100.900. Recipient obligation to report changes.

  • 	(a)  A Medicaid recipient eligible under 7 AAC 100.002(a) or (c) must report to the department any change in the household that may affect the household's eligibility within 10 days after the date the recipient knows of the change. Changes affecting a household or individual included in the household that must be reported under this section include  
    		(1) a new mailing address for the household;  
    		(2) an individual who could be included in the household moving into or out of the home;  
    		(3) acquiring or disposing of a vehicle;  
    		(4) a cash or account balance that exceeds $2,000;  
    		(5) starting or stopping a job;  
    		(6) a change in salary or wage;  
    		(7) a change in employment from part-time to full-time, or from full-time to part-time;  
    		(8) starting, stopping, or changing health insurance coverage;  
    		(9) a single change in unearned income greater than $50; and  
    		(10) a change in a household member's child support obligation.  
    	(b)  A recipient eligible under 7 AAC 100.002(b), (d), or (e) must report any change to the department in accordance with 7 AAC 40.440.  
    	(c)  If a reported change affects a recipient or a recipient's household, the department may request in writing verification of the change. If a recipient or caretaker relative fails to provide the requested verification within the time frame specified in the department's written request, the department may terminate Medicaid eligibility in accordance with this chapter and 7 AAC 49.
