(a) A participating site shall develop and maintain a plan to guide the recruitment and retention of health care professionals. (b) A recruitment and retention plan must include the policies and processes that a site will use to recruit and maintain appropriate clinical staffing levels needed to serve the community. A site shall keep a current copy of the plan on site, and shall update the plan as needed to address any factor that may affect management of the facility.
