East of a line roughly paralleling the Yukon-Alaska Border twenty-five miles west of McCarthy from the southern coast to a point 25 miles south of Wood Chopper; thence westerly to a point 25 miles north of Rampart; thence southwesterly to the eastern end of Iliamna Lake; thence northwesterly to the southern extremity of Eek; thence including adjacent Alaskan Islands and following the coastline to its junction with the northern end of the Alaska-Canada Boundary; thence along this border south to its junction with the boundary of Glacier Bay National Monument; thence westerly along the coastline to intersect the above described McCarthy-Wood Chopper line. Included in this area is the Alaska Peninsula and Aleutian Island westerly of a line from Egegik to Kanatak and inclusive of these villages. Excluded from this area for purposes of medical treatment is any location less than one hundred air miles from the office of a physician available to furnish private care, and any location from which travel by the cheapest commonly used mode of travel to the office of such a physician is less than $50 round trip, providing such travel is available normally within 24 hours. Excluded from this area for purposes of dental treatment is any location less than 100 air miles from the office of a dentist available to furnish private care, and any location from which travel by the cheapest commonly used mode of travel to the office of such a dentist is less than $50 round trip, providing such travel is available normally within 24 hours.
