(a) A residential child care facility may not advertise or represent that it specializes in substance use treatment without a specialization in treatment for substance use approved by the division. (b) A residential child care facility with approval from the department under AS 47.37.140 in adolescent treatment for substance use is exempt from the requirements of (1) 7 AAC 50.320(c) and (d); (2) 7 AAC 50.330; (3) 7 AAC 50.340(b)(1) - (4) and (c) - (f); and (4) 7 AAC 50.425(b), (f) - (h), (k)(3), (k)(4), (l), and (p). (c) A residential child care facility with a specialization in treatment for substance use shall ensure that a child in treatment longer than 30 days receives education to meet the child's needs.
