An assisted living home must satisfy applicable standards for sanitation and environmental protection, including the applicable standards of 7 AAC 10.1000 - 7 AAC 10.1095. An assisted living home shall allow inspection by the department as required by AS 47.32.100 and 7 AAC 10.9600 - 7 AAC 10.9620, and by any municipal authority responsible for ensuring that the home meets applicable municipal sanitation and environmental protection requirements. The home shall maintain a copy of each inspection report for at least two years and make any report from a municipal authority available for department review. The department may request an inspection by the municipal authority on the home's behalf. The home is responsible for any fee charged.
