	(a)  The department will destroy paper documents submitted by a provider under this chapter for inclusion in an electronic information system after the information has been entered into the system and verified.  
	(b)  The department will retain information in an electronic format as long as necessary to produce aggregate data for program administration, research, audit, or informational purposes.
