(a) A signal system must be provided on all amusement rides if the lack of such a system might permit rear end collision or possible injury of passenger. (b) A signal system for the starting and stopping of an amusement ride must be provided if the attendant does not have a clear view of the point at which passengers are loaded or unloaded. (c) If there is a need for coded signals, the code must be posted at both the attendant's and signalman's stations. Signals must be thoroughly understood by all person who use them. (d) A signal for the movement of a ride may not be given until all passengers are safely within the ride and all other persons are in the clear. (e) Repealed 6/15/2001.
