Section 11.67.192. Sale, assignment, or sublease of agricultural interest.

Latest version.
  • (a) Any conveyance of the agricultural interest in an entire, unsubdivided parcel may be made after 30 days' prior written notice to the director. Notice must include a copy of the earnest money agreement, deposit receipt, or other evidence of the price and terms offered. Any such agreement with a prospective purchaser must contain notice that the purchase is contingent on the director's not exercising his 30-day first option to purchase. The director has the right to meet the price and terms offered, but if this option to purchase is not exercised, the director has no authority to disapprove of the conveyance to another purchaser.
    	(b) Notice of the assignment for value of the agricultural interest in an undivided tract must be given the state in the same manner as provided in 11 AAC 58.580.
