Section 11.88.151. Notice required by AS 38.05.945(c).

(a) A village corporation will be given notice under AS 38.05.945(c)(3) if it owns or has selected land within six miles of the state land proposed for disposal. (b) A community will be given notice under AS 38.05.945(c)(4) if land within its boundaries is no more than six miles from the state land proposed for disposal. A community is an incorporated or unincorporated place with 25 or more inhabitants, according to the most recent census of the U.S. Census Bureau. An incorporated community's boundaries will be those reported to the department by the Local Boundary Commission. An unincorporated community's boundaries will be those delineated by the U.S. Census Bureau in the most recent census.
