(a) The examination for a license to practice body piercing or to practice tattooing and permanent cosmetic coloring is a written examination prepared and administered by the board covering the subjects listed in AS 08.13.080(d)(2). (b) A grade of 75 percent or higher on the examinations listed in (a) of this section is a passing grade. (c) Foreign language interpreters are not allowed in the examination room.
