Section 12.09.084. Body piercing license by waiver.

An applicant for a license by waiver of examination to practice body piercing shall apply on a form provided by the department. The application must include (1) payment of the applicable fees established in 12 AAC 02.140; (2) verification that the applicant (A) holds a current license to practice body piercing in another state; and (B) is qualified for licensure to practice body piercing in that state by passing a written examination; (3) verification that the applicant has successfully completed training equivalent to that required for completion of courses certified by the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or a similar organization approved by the board, and has been issued a current card, in (A) cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR); and (B) blood borne pathogens; and (4) verification that the applicant has completed training equivalent to that described in AS 08.13.082(d) and 12 AAC 09.167(a) - (c).
