An applicant for a residential contractor endorsement must submit (1) a completed application on a form provided by the department, including the name of the registered general contractor to whom the endorsement will be assigned; (2) the applicable fee established in 12 AAC 02.180; (3) verification that the applicant has obtained, within the 12 months immediately preceding the date of the application, a score of at least 70 percent on the residential contractor examination administered by Experior Assessments, LLC or other examination approved by the department; and (4) verification that the applicant has satisfactorily completed, within the 24 months immediately preceding the date of the application, a program or course that meets the requirements of AS 08.18.025(b)(4).
